WORLD MOTOPLEX STILL CONSIDERING OPTIONS FOR ACTIONS SPORTS COMPLEX IN SAN MARCOS

SAN MARCOS, Calif. (September 15, 2005) - World Motoplex has elected to cancel escrow on the former recycling plant, located on 1601 San Elijo Road, citing the need for more time to research and assess the community's needs for a multi-sports complex.
World Motoplex, a San Diego based company, is planning to build a world class multi-sports complex on the 15-acre site to meet the needs of the fast growing action sports enthusiasts. The proposed project slated to include indoor dirt and road track, skate park, swimming pool complex, retail space, and banquet space for events and parties.
"The kids of today are participating in a diversity of sports like motorcross and skate boarding," said John Valenty Co-CEO of World Motoplex. "However, unlike traditional sports like Little League baseball and Pop Warner football, there is a serious shortage of facilities for these kids to safely pursue these sports."
Recently, World Motoplex has been meeting with members of the San Marcos community to gather input on the proposed project. "We have received a lot of good comments from members of the community," said Valenty. "During one of our meetings, we learned that there was a great need for competitive swimming pool facilities within the community. We took these comments and incorporated it into our plan."
"Unfortunately the property owner's timeline is not consistent with our timeline to complete our work. If this site is still available, we will be considering this site as a viable option" added Valenty.
