We would like to thank you for your continued support. We know how anxious everyone is in seeing this facility become a reality in San Diego. You need to know that every day our team is working hard and making progress towards making this project happen. This is one dream that will eventually come true.
We have continued our due diligence on several possible locations in North San Diego County. We have spent countless hours meeting with city planners, officials, building owners and our consultants. While we have been met with many obstacles and challenges we have never wavered from our commitment to bring indoor motocross to San Diego. It is not a matter of if, only when and where.
We have also determined that it is best to avoid getting specific about any one location or give time frame estimates because there are just too many variables to take into consideration on each site.
Thanks so much to all of who have offered to volunteer and help in so many ways. When we ultimately settle on the final location, we will let you know exactly how you can help.
We sincerely appreciate your support and encourage you to continue referring riders to the website. The more riders we have pre-enrolled on the site the more likely we will be able to demonstrate to city officials, the media and landowners how much we need a facility like World Motoplex in San Diego.
On a more somber note I am sure many of you are aware of the tragedy that occurred at the most recent Super Cross event in San Diego. James Marshall went down hard and was tragically paralyzed. James is actually from Texas; however, he is being treated in San Diego at Sharp Memorial Hospital. After making it through surgery and continued physical therapy, James miraculously has some feeling in his arms and parts of his lower body. You can follow his progress at http://www.helpjames.org. The outpouring of prayers and support from all over the country has been impressive and appreciated. If you can afford to help, you can make a contribution on the site to help James recover and enable his family to be with him in the process.

The owners and architects met at a proposed site in Vista for additional measurements and planning today. Due to this site's M-1 commercial zoning and concrete tilt-up construction, we shouldn't receive nearly the residential back-lash that we encountered on the first site. Keep spreading the word... we still need more pre-enrolled members to pull the trigger. Thanks for your support!

Sound tests were successful! 30 of the loudest off-road bikes on the planet were lit up in the building and run at full-throttle without any of the pending sound-proofing treatments to the structure. Sound readings were within residential compliance, below 77db from right outside the building and not even perceptable from San Elijo road! It will only get quieter after sound treatments.
